Extra Mile Service Award Program Image

What is an Extra Mile award?
Employees are nominated throughout the year to receive an Extra Mile Star by their manager, fellow employee, a CLW consumer or vendor, perhaps by you. All nominations are reviewed and approved by the Executive Director of CLW. Extra Mile award recipients are able to proudly post their stars by their desks, and to select froma catalog of prizes. The employee who receives the most Extra Mile Stars throughout the year is announced the Chairman of the Extra Mile Club at CLW's Annual Awards Dinner. In addition to formal recognition at CLW's Annual Meeting, the Chairman of the Extra Mile Club also receives a check in the amount of $500 and has his/her photo and name engraved on a plaque that hangs in the lobby of CLW's Main street office. Christopher Murphy, who coordinates our Specialized Telephone Equipment Programs (STEP), is our present Chairman.

How do I recommend an Extra Mile Star?
Send all nominations to Lisa Durpey, HR Administration. Nominations should explain what service was provided that went beyond and above expectations and why the employee should be recognized and rewarded. Send email to lduprey@centerlw.org or mail to Lisa Duprey, CLW, 484 Main Street, Suite 345, Worcester, MA 01608. For more information you can call her at 508-755-1121.
